Air China¡®s New Free Baggage Allowance for International Travel

As Air China will apply the baggage piece concept rules on all International journeys, starting September 1, 2011, Air China would like to remind you of the following changes:

If Air China operates the geographically longest or most significant stretch of the journey, then for the Free Baggage Allowance the following rules apply:

On all International journeys, the First Class or Business Class passenger is allowed up to two pieces of baggage free of charge, each weighing no more than 32kg (70 lbs). On the journey to/from Japan and Americas, the Economy Class passenger is allowed up to two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, each weighing no more than 23kg (50 lbs). On the journey not to/from Japan and Americas the Economy Class passenger is allowed to one piece of checked baggage free of charge, weighing no more than 23kg (50 lbs).
