¡¡¡¡ Last week Air China introduced important service upgrades on its established air routes to India, including the launch of new A-320 airliners to serve its three weekly Shanghai ¨C Chengdu - Mumbai flights, CA429/CA430.
When Air China began offering flights between Mumbai, and Shanghai and Chengdu on May 1, 1012, it began a new chapter in Sino-India airline history.
Now Air China has firmly established this air bridge between continents, evidence of one great achievement that contributes to making travel easier for our long-term, valued customers, without whose ongoing support today¡¯s success wouldn't have been possible.
Air China is the region¡¯s dominant carrier, now linking three major Indian cities: Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai, to China with more than 14 flights a week. Sino-India flights serve Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai (Pudong) and cities beyond, including the top cities around the world, via connecting flights through China¡¯s international airports.
Mumbai is the 10th destination outside China accessible by direct Air China flights from Air China¡¯s growing Chengdu international transit hub. The other cities include Tokyo, Nagoya, Seoul, Singapore, Bangalore, Kathmandu, Karachi, Taipei China and Hong Kong China.
Mumbai is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, known as India's "Western Gateway"; it is the country's largest port and an important transportation center.
